Beautiful church.
This post is in regards to the woman who answered the phone and represents the Church, not against the Church itself. My Fiance and I have always dreamed of getting married in an old, historic Church that had family ties, like Guardian Angel. I was really looking forward to speaking with them because I thought we had found our Church! I kindly asked the woman who answered the phone if they allowed non-parishioners to get married at the Church and if so, what were the fee's associated. The first thing she says to me is, "Well I have some questions for you," and began questioning/attacking me on why I wanted to get married at "their church" and why I would pick a church outside of the city I live in. She then said there were plenty of Catholic Churches in Katy we can get married at, or that I should go to the church where I was raised. I cannot repeat every word she said to me because I was in complete disbelief that a woman of God would speak to a stranger the way she did. She should be honored that people want to get married in her Church, not put them down for it. She was by far the rudest woman I have ever spoken to in my life. Family friends of mine who attend the church informed the Priest about the incident. The Priest called while I was at work but did not leave a voicemail. I returned his call, but the same woman answered the phone and said she would let him know I called. Unfortunately I have not heard from them since. Now I understand why more and more young adults like myself don't get married in the church these days.
Love the people of Wallis. They're so down to earth and welcoming. We enjoy being a part of the Car Show every year!!!!

Beautiful! Very happy that they leave the Church open so visitors have the opportunity to pray. Well worth the visit!
